During a beautiful summer, a grasshopper spent his days singing and playing. At the same time, a hardworking little ant was busy gathering food for the upcoming winter.
The grasshopper mocked the ant, saying, "Why work so hard in this beautiful weather? Come and play with me, enjoy the day!" But the ant ignored him and continued its work, advising the grasshopper to save food for the winter as well. The grasshopper just laughed it off.
Months passed, and the freezing winter arrived. The ground was covered in thick snow. The grasshopper couldn't find a single grain of food and began to starve. Meanwhile, the ant lived comfortably and happily inside its warm home, eating the food it had stored.
Unable to bear the hunger, the cold grasshopper finally reached the ant's doorstep begging for help. The kind ant welcomed him inside, gave him a warm blanket, and shared its food. The grasshopper finally realized the importance of hard work and planning ahead.
Moral: Today's hard work ensures tomorrow's security. Time is precious; do not waste it.
